Dubbo Observatory was established in 1999.
It is located just a 10 minute drive from Dubbo city centre, behind the Western Plains Zoo.
A theatrette with audio visual program looking at distances in the universe and how stars work.
Explore space travel on the Space Shuttle.
Discover a hugely magnified moon, the planets, the milky way and beyond with the most hi-tech telescopes in the west.
Astro Mini Golf:
An 18 hole astronomically themed mini golf course. 
From the Sun - our local star - to finishing up spiraling into a Black Hole
From an eighth scale model of the famous Stonehenge, to a rocket trip to the Moon, to entering Dr Who's trusty TARDIS.
A fun and educational way for the whole family to learn more about your universe.
Guided Tour:
A night time tour designed to be a fun and educational experience for all ages!
Open 7 nights - subject to weather.
