Aladdin’s Cave Bottlehouse is a unique bottlehouse, a delight for both children and adults to visit.
An impressive example of how recycling can become something that attracts visitors.
An Aladdin’s cave constructed from approximately 3,000 colourful bottles, in the garden of Jan Gilmour and Brian Lewis's property, 10 minutes from Dubbo on the Dunedoo Road.  It took six years for Jan Gilmour and Brian Lewis to complete the project.

The 1.8-metre wide bottle house has been a family project. It includes bottles of every age and description along with jugs and ceramic ornaments.

The bottle house has a gravel floor and contains an old metal storage chest of ‘treasures’ which stands in pride of place.  A range of display items including antique dolls, miniature bottles and an ornamental Egyptian brass urn and goblets (the Genie's Bottle). Additional bottles, some antiques, are suspended with rope on the support beams and overflow from an old laundry copper.
In the grounds there is also an impressive array of West Australian flowering eucalypts and gumnuts.  Charming surprises are at every turn - rustic chairs set up for The Three Bears to enjoy bowls of porridge, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Thumbelina, Jack and the Beanstalk, the Three Little Pigs and Enid Blyton's’s Faraway Tree (complete with hanging pots and pans).  In the fairy gardens - tiny houses and tea things laid out for fairy folk.

The exterior of the bottlehouse holds more surprises  and a large shed displays Australiana and heritage Collectables.
